Previewing the Graduation Ceremony for the Third Batch of Agniveers at INS Chilka

The Passing Out Parade (POP) for the third cohort of Agniveers is slated to take place at INS Chilka on March 15, 2024. This event signifies the successful completion of training for approximately 2600 Agniveers, including female participants, who have undergone rigorous training at Chilka. Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff, will preside as the Chief Guest and review the POP ceremony after sunset. Vice Admiral V Srinivas, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, will also be in attendance.

This significant occasion will be attended by the proud family members of the graduating Agniveers. Additionally, esteemed veterans and sports personalities, known for their remarkable achievements, will grace the ceremony, inspiring the Agniveers with their success stories.

The Chief of Naval Staff will also participate in the valedictory function, where awards and trophies will be presented to various divisions. Furthermore, he will unveil the bilingual trainees’ magazine ‘Ankur’.
