Parivartan Chintan II concludes in New Delhi

General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Defence Staff, emphasizes the importance of accelerating the jointness process to build a Multi Domain Response capable Indian Armed Forces.

The two-day “Parivartan Chintan II” took place in New Delhi on May 9-10, 2024, chaired by Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Anil Chauhan. Attendees included officers from Service Headquarters, Department of Military Affairs, Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff, and various sub-committees of the Chiefs of Staff Committee (COSC), tasked with overseeing initiatives and generating innovative ideas to drive Theaterisation forward.

Updates on crucial initiatives for Jointness and Integration were provided by COSC Sub-Committees, with active discussions focusing on essential reforms necessary to achieve the envisioned “Joint & Integrated” state for transformation.

General Chauhan led discussions on both days, stressing the urgency of advancing initiatives to facilitate Theaterisation and the establishment of a Multi-Domain Response capable Indian Armed Forces.

He expressed confidence that such deliberations would aid in evolving the Armed Forces into a theaterized force capable of Multi-Domain Operations, bolstering the capability to protect territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
