Naval Headquarters Wraps Up Station Commanders’ Workshop in New Delhi

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar, accompanied by Mrs. Kala Hari Kumar, President of Naval Welfare and Wellness Association (NWWA), spoke to Station Commanders at the inaugural Workshop in New Delhi.

The 3rd edition of Station Commanders’ Workshop (SCW 24/1), bringing together Naval Station Commanders responsible for administrative and functional support to operational units, took place at Naval Headquarters, New Delhi from March 18-20, 24. With over 100 delegates representing all naval stations and officers from Naval Headquarters (NHQ) and Command Headquarters, the workshop included Commanding Officers from various Naval Hospitals, officers from Naval Armament Inspection (NAI) Units, and Material Organizations (MOs). NHQ focused on Works, Logistics, and Intelligence as key areas for SCW 24/1, with DGMS(N) presenting a report on Early Intervention Centers’ operations across Commands and NHQ, and releasing the EIC book manuscript alongside Admiral R Hari Kumar, CNS, Mrs. Kala Hari Kumar, President NWWA, and Surg Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, DGMS(N).

Mrs. Kala Hari Kumar conducted an informational session on NWWA, attended by Station Commanders, Unit heads of MOs, NLCs, NAIs, and NWWA members. She highlighted recent NWWA initiatives, including Early Intervention Centers, stressing leadership’s role in community welfare and sharing forthcoming initiatives. The event also saw the release of the NWWA Coffee Table Book by President NWWA and NWWA committee members.
