Union Defence Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh, arrived in Prayagraj today to participate in Mahakumbh 2025, accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sudhanshu Trivedi. Upon reaching Prayagraj, the Defence Minister first took a dip in the sacred Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers converge. He also visited the Akshay Vat, Patalpuri Temple, and Bade Hanuman Temple, while reviewing the arrangements for the Mahakumbh.
On this auspicious occasion, the dignitaries participated in the ritual bath at the holy Triveni Sangam. The Defence Minister expressed that it was a privilege to take a dip in the Sangam, describing the Mahakumbh as a grand spiritual and cultural festival representing the essence of Indian heritage. He encouraged everyone to visit the Mahakumbh to truly understand the spirit of Indianness.
