Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, Chief of Staff, Headquarters Eastern Naval Command, flagged off the ‘Dare Square’ Motorcycle Expedition on January 13, 2025, from Visakhapatnam to Ayodhya. Rear Admiral Susheel Menon, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet, was also present at the event. Addressing the participants, Vice Admiral Saxena emphasized the importance of adhering to road safety measures and responsible driving.
The expedition, organized by INS Ranvijay in collaboration with M/s Bajaj Pulsar, will traverse through the states of Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh, concluding at the Dogra Regimental Centre in Ayodhya.
This initiative celebrates INS Ranvijay’s 37th anniversary and highlights its strong affiliation with the Indian Army’s Dogra Regiment, embodying the spirit of jointmanship between the armed forces.
The rally also promotes the Chief of the Naval Staff’s message on ‘Mental Health and Wellness,’ encouraging individuals to prioritize emotional well-being and resilience. Along its route, the expedition will conduct awareness drives at schools and colleges, showcasing India’s rich maritime heritage and inspiring young minds.
In addition to fostering a sense of adventure, teamwork, and camaraderie, the expedition emphasizes road safety awareness, urging the public to adopt responsible driving practices.
